Hi All

My name is Richard and I’m the junior footy umpire coordinator for season 2021.  I have 2 sons playing in U8 and U9 and I’m looking forward to round 1 next Sunday 18/04/2021.

For each of the modified rules teams - U8, U9, U10 mixed and U10 and U12 girls - there’s a league requirement for each team to have a volunteer umpire to umpire the match.  If the team doesn’t have a volunteer umpire, the match can’t be played.

Thank you to those parents who’ve stepped up.  However, we’re still short of a volunteer umpire in the following teams:

·         U8 mixed

·         U9 mixed

·         U10 girls

The more parents that step up, the more the role can be shared and the easier it is for everyone.

1.       Attend an info session arranged by the league

2.      Sign a code of conduct and send to Cam Watts @the league

3.      Upload your WWCC to your EverProof account and link it to South Melbourne Districts

With the first match fast approaching, it’s really important to jump on board early in order to start the above process which can take a few days to complete.
