If you would like to be part of the SMDNC, please find below information on our playing competition at Parkville on Saturday mornings.
PARKVILLE COMPETITION
The Parkville competition, played at the State Netball Centre has two seasons;
Autumn (February-June) and Spring (July-December).
Parkville offer the following age groups with a minimum age in each:
Go Teams = 6 years
U11 = 8 years
U13 = 11 years
U15 = 12 years
U17 = 15 years
Open = 15 years
We currently have Go teams (Under 9’s) Under 11’s and Under 13’s playing at Parkville.

Club fees are $350 per player, per season which includes;

FINANCIAL HARDSHIP
If you child is interested in playing netball but you are facing challenges with covering the prospect of paying fees, we warmly encourage you to reach out to the club.
Support is available, and we are committed to ensuring everyone has the opportunity to play Netball.
NETBALL VICTORIA MEMBERSHIP
Parent are required to pay their child’s Netball Victorian Membership (Insurance) separately, as this amount varies depending on age.
Payment of your child’s compulsory Netball Victoria Netball Membership (Insurance) is paid direct to Netball Victoria. This annual payment covers you for insurance to take the court from January to December, you must have a current membership before you play.

RECRUITMENT
Recruitment and team building training sessions for players aged 7 and over wanting to join the club will commence in Term 2 from Saturday 2nd April 2026 to 20th June 2026.
NET-SET-GO
SMDNC offer the Woolworths NetSetGo program for age 5 to 10 year olds in Term 2, 2026.
We work closely to support and guide up-and-coming players transitioning from the NetSetGo program into competition.

Net: ages 5-6 and where it all begins, ‘Net’ put the fun in fundamental motor skills through activities and games.
Set: ages 7-8 with ‘Set’ focus on refining fundamental motor skills and introducing modified match play.
Go: ages 9-10 to develop specific skills through modified match play that has kids ready for the real thing. ‘Go’ level have the opportunity to register at Parkville and play competition on a Saturday morning.
